A sad week without my brother.

      It has been exactly 3days since my brother was hhospitalized today. He left home and went to the hospital in a critical condition. So I'm very sad when I remember that. But we call him whenever we can.📞

    We won't have to leave the house for two weeks. The other days I went to my mother's preschool to do my university lectures. But it cannot be done now. Because my house has technical problems. 

      

    My mother is always talking about my brother. Because when he was at home, my mother did almost all his work. Our brother is like a little boy. 

         So dad and I and mom are home now. At that time we were doing homework totogether. I always wish my brother a speedy recovery and return home. "I miss you so much aiya. Please come soon."😔😘♥️👨‍👧 

An unforgettable sad day.

Today has been one of the saddest day of my life. That is because my brother fell in due to the Covid epidemic. He had a fever yesterday and took medicine fot it. But to this day there has been no shortage of it.

😥  😖 😞 🤒 🤕 🤧

When he was at home with a fever, I realized that he was having a hard time. But he would not let me come near him.😞 because he was afraid that he would spread that hatred to me as well.😖😢 

Today morning my father took him to the Rathnapura General hospital for treatments.My mother cried a lot when he left home. I cried a lot too. I wanted to hug my brother and cry.😥 But my brother stopped me.

😣 🙁 🤕 🤒 😣 😖 😭 😢 😞

At the evening my father said that tests at the hospital confirmed that my brother had Covid 19. Mom and I cried a lot. It was really hard for me to bear it. Because I love my brother ao much. 😞♥️ But we somehow tried to make up his mind. He always laughs at everything we say and says, " everything is fine amma, without fear."🤗😔♥️ 

I talk to him whenever I can. I'm waiting for him to get well soon and come home.🤕🤗😞 I always wish the corona epidemic to end soon and heal my brother quickly.I miss you so much aiya. 😣😘😔

How I spend my weekends?

Weekend is something I really look forward too. 😋🤗After spending five days of assignments and lectures, we are allowed to take some time off to realx and unwind during the weekends.😣😐 I got up later than usual on saturday morning. After breakfast, I went to the library and spent some time reading there. I read books, till lunch time. Then I went home, had lunch and took an afternoon nap.😃🤩

The rest of the afternoon I helped my father in the garden uprooting weeds and trimming the hedge. I know he happy about that because other weekdays I spend all the time of day in my room with my studies. So I really enjoy my weekend evenings.👨‍👧😍♥️

Saturday evening is one of my favorite ones because I play volleyball with my friends near our home. 🏐😍We do have lot of fun and continued until darkness fell. After that, I had my bath and dinner.🤗🥗

Then the sunday sometimes we got ready to leave our aunt's house. Over there, we had a great time. We had great yummy foods.🥞🍗🥗😋 In the evening I went to to the restaurant with my friends. I can enjoy myself and sit realx in the restaurant.🍩🍸 

later that evening we all start to get things ready for another week. Spending time with my family is very important to me and also for them.♥️👩‍👩‍👦‍👦 We spend all the time we can together and so comes the end of another wonderful weekend with my folks and I am very much greatful for my loving family.👩‍👩‍👦‍👦😍🌎

The nanature has gifted water to man, because this is very essential for a human existence. A person can live for sometime without food - but not without water. The water is been use on humorist ways for drinking, cooking food and other requirements such as for, washing clothes and cleaning kitchen utensils and for bathing. 🍃🍁⛆🌊🌏

 The water is necessary for food cultivation. Too much of water bring sad results for the human beings. Houses, animals and human life are been destroyed by floods another hands when there is no water is nothing but drought. This creates a problem has it is too harmful. Water must not be wasted but managed carefully. The value of water not realized by man when it is freely available. Water is really a wealth to be preserved. It should not go waste.

Once and ancient king Parakramabahu the great said "not a Singh drop of rain water should reach the sea without man making serve one of it". 👑🌏

Some of the Middle East countries are very much is use of sea water often purifying for human consumpsons. Another harmful act for this is too muh of felling trees illegally. As human being it is duty to give thought safe guard water for the survival of all mankind and for the generation to come.⛆🌍🌿

Our school sports meet

Each and every school in this island holds the annual sport meet which is one of the main sport events in the school.⛺🔆

                                                                                                                   

 These meets are held in first term of the school every year. There are four houses in each school. 🏠  ⛺ 😍 🏐

  The children are divided into these houses and given names with different colors.  ⛺ 🔴 🔵 ⚪ ⚫ ⛺                                                       
Vijaya,⛺❤️ Parakrama,⛺💚 Gamunu, ⛺💛Atigala ⛺💙 are the houses of our school.

The children were very eagerly in organizing their respective houses to win the championship trophy.🏆🎖️️🏅🥇🥈🥉🏆️

Temporary houses tents were built and decorated with streamers, flags 🚩and balloons🎈🎗️ in four different colors of their respective houses.🎉️🏐🎈🎊️

Every time as a school dancing team we put on a beautiful drill show. We participate in it very willingly.🎊️💃🕺😍 ✨🔅 💃🕺🎊️

Sport meet is the opportunity for the children to come out with 

best of their performance and to show their capabilities. Old boys, parents and well wishers grace this occasion with much responsibility.  🎾🏉🏈🎳🥋⚾🏏🏒🥅⛳🏑🏀

        
                    Some of these children who do well will represent the country in the international arena. I can proudly say that our school hosts the most beautiful and best sport festival in the Rathnapura district.        😎 😌 😍 🏆️🎖️️🎗️ 🎊️               

A visit to a fair

 

"It was a Sunday."🌞

The fair in our town was held on Sundays. In my childhood I went with my mother to the Sunday fair in our village to buy some vegetables and things.🌽🍊🍗 There were lot of people roaming hear and there searching for their  day to day requirements. My mother and my self purchased goods what is sufficient for a week.☺  

Other than out side market people can buy more things at cheaper rate from the fair. There for many people was to go every weekend to the fair. But what I didn't like is that the sellers trade loudly.😫🙁 We spent nearly one hour buying things in the fair. In the meantime mother brought me an ice cream.🍦😋 Mother knew very well that I accompany her every week hoping that I get an ice cream.👀😁😉

What if the world changes like this?

Let's break free from the way we live and look at the imaginary world.💭💫 How would the world be different if we humans were transformed into animals and all the animals in the animal kingdom were transformed into human beings? In fact, it will be a great adventure.😟👀

When rats drive on highways, humans can transform into small creatures and die under those vehicles. Also, how would we feel if our limbs were involved in an accident?

Humans put fish in tanks and keep them as pets.🐠 🐟When the are so imprisoned we do not think of how their thoughts live in the midst of its obstruction. But what if the fish came to the outside world and put us in tanks and imprisoned us? We don't get food and drinks when we need it. Will we be able to go anywhere and get stuck in it? It is very difficult.

Human keep small animals, such as puppies, kittens in cages and run shops. We can give and take them if we want. But what if animals become human and keep human children in cages and run shops? Without proper food and drink, would we be able to remain so trapped without  love and kindness?

Nowadays, as a favorite pastime of our youth, they go to restaurants like KFC, Macdonald and eat chicken.🍗🍔🍴 They eat chicken legs and so on. But what if we transform into cocks and cocks into humans? Cocks will go to KFC and enjoy slapping our limbs. That would not be a good idea at all. It is very tragic. 

In many laboratories, scientists use small animals such as frogs and

mice to make their latest scientific discoveries. They do different things by giving different vaccines but how painful would it be when these scientists, doctors etc. were transformed into frogs and mice and used to transform these little animals into scientists and use them for their new experiments, cutting off their limbs and giving them various injections and medicines?🐁

 

But the sad thing  is that humans don't think about the thoughts, desires, ideas, feelings, pains etc. of others. As mentioned above, if things happen, people will change. otherwise, people will never change. In the same way, they will work to their advantage, hurting and hurting others.😑

An unforgettable incident that happened in my life

☔⛆⛈"It was a rainy day.⛈⛆☔

 I was in bed reading a book.📖 Suddenly the lights went off.💡 I went to the window and looked out.👀 The entire environment pitch dark and gloomy.☔⛆ Then there was thunder and lighting and a  heavy downpour.⛈⛆                                      

My parents gone out an official matter. They said they will come back soon. I was alone at home.😖 Although it was pitch dark I felt lazy to light a candle. All the doors were looked. Thinking my parents to return home I open the front door with the help of a candle. 

Not that I felt worried, scared and frightened. Then came a strong blowing and knocked against the candle. This made the more frightened and I felt chilly.😨 Immediately I close the door. Then I started looking in the dark for a torch. Luckily it was on the table. Umbrella was there too. 🌂 Then I flash the torch to open the front door after locking the door, went in search of my parents.

While I was in the move a strong wind carried away my umbrella. Then I got soaked as there was no other alternative, I ran into a shade of big tree. I was there for more than one hour getting wet.💦😓😧 

The car was coming

Then I saw my fathers car coming toward me while I was standing near the road way. 🚗 My father stopped the vehicle. I ran to the car and got in to the vehicle. With in a matter of few minutes we were at home. By that time the current has come to normal.💦🌛

                There are various disasters covering the world in many ways. For examples, floods, lands slides earthquakes, sandstorms, volcanoes, tornados and Tsunami are the main natural disasters of the world. out of what is being mentioned above three categories which affect our country are floods, cyclones and only recently we met for the first time a disaster call a Tsunami.

Tsunami

                  Tsunami also affected Asian countries in the Indian Ocean. We in Sri Lanka were very badly affected. Thousands of human lives, houses and properties of individuals  and of the state were lost. We faced the unnatural disaster which so much damage was caused. We didn't have any experience pertaining to a situation of this caliber in the past.

We have never experienced earthquakes, tornados and volcanoes but we have met with landslides and earthslips. On this sudden development people from all walks of life. got together and came forward by helping people in what ever the possible way by donating cooked food, pure water bottles, medicines, clothes, tents, mattresses, pillows, mosquito nets, etc. and also the government immediately
took necessary steps to look after the affected people of the country on short term and long term basis.

To prevent any such occurrence in the future, the government has taken all precautions using the latest technology by fixing alarm system with the coordination of the united nation disaster management system in Hawai island. So the last thing we need to know is that if we live in harmony with the natural environment while conserving natural resources, we can expect some degree or less of the impact of these natural disasters.😌😊💫

The best friend I have ever met

 

My best friend is Rasika Wijayanthi. She is an undergraduate the University of Kalaniya. From my small days I didn't have any liking for sports. But my best friend Rasika is different and she loves sports. I always encourage her because she is very active playing netball, athletics and badminton. Because of my friendship even our parents became very good friends. I am of course a good artist, but Rasika is not. She appreciates my art work always. We both are treated as mango friends by our classmates, because we are so attached to each other.😍💕 Our friendship will be everlasting.💓👭
